Itinerary

Well I decided to try making an itinerary for a multi stop trip that is upcoming.
So I interfaced my 720 with TomTom home 2 and opened "use your TomTom".

I couldn't find the itnerary button.
I opened the manual and read it.
Still could not find the itnerary button.

Is it possible that the 720 doesn't have itnerary planning? The manual covers several models. hummm.
No, it is suppose to be in the 720.

So I disconnected my unit and prepared for another root canal with tech support.

I started up the unit and the itnerary button is there now.

So it appears that you can't access itneraries through "TomTom Home 2" use your TomTom feature.

Would it not seem logical that creating itneraries using the full keyboard and mouse would be easier?

I don't believe that itinerary planning is available via TTHome only directly on the unit.

i seem to recall that there are a few items that are not in TTHome.

I did NOT upgrade my firmware (and I have a 920) but when I just fired up TTHome, Itinerary Planning was still in the TTHome. I don't know if TT removed it accidently or purposefully and whether it is TTHome or the unit's firmware that removed the feature.
