it just started today it starts up asking for language, right hand or left, time format, time and then what voice and when i press select it stops turns off then starts all over again

I am having the same problem and reloading the application did not help. It was working fine until I updated it today. It reboots every few minutes. It does not reboot when it is attached to the computer, only when running.

Use Explorer to see the contents of the unit. In your specific map folder map folder is a file called mapsettings.cfg. Delete it. (Don't worry, the application will recreate it on next start up).

Turn off the unit. Turn it on again. See if the problem is resolved.
