I updated my speed cameras yesterday, and have since not been able to use my device.
The device starts fine, boots up and the map screen appears. This is when the issues start.
It attempts to load up the map screen, but will it then begin fading out to black, with the menu button disappearing. I can sometimes get onto the menu screen, but then it will fade to black and then boot me out to the map screen - making it impossible to get to the settings to perform a factory reset.
I have performed a system recovery and reinstalled maps, but this has not resolved the issue. I don't believe there is an issue with the screen, as it stayed on for a total of 3 hours when it was downloading the mapping again.
This has all occurred since an update being performed yesterday. Prior to that the device was up to date, and used on Friday for a three hour drive.
My Device is a Tom Tom Go (unsure of the exact number, but the serial begins ZA, which according to another thread makes it a NAV4.
Unsure where to go with this from here on in, as this is the first issue I've had with the device, and convinced it has been caused by the update I did yesterday.
Edit - apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum, I believe my device is for a car rather than a professional / lorry one.
