You know that triangle on the screen showing that it is "you" and when ever you move it moves with you? of course lol.. I just wanted to know can you change that icon to a picture of a car?

I have a tomtom 3rd edition gps system. Any means of changing the icon? Thank you so much every1

Bottom line is that you can't change the symbol on the 3rd edition easily. However there is third party software available called:

Tomtom Xplorer

which can be found at:

www.tomtomheaven.com

Only problem is the site is in french.

Remember though that the car icon will not show up when your map is set to 2-D... only when in 3-D will you see a car symbol there.
