Is there a Back Button?

I apologize if this has already been asked. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Is there a "back button" while you are browsing the tomtom unit? It drives me insane that you have to scroll to the right then if you accidently hit the button twice you have to scroll all the way through again. I know this is a small thing but really annoying.

Anybody else agree?

The question you should be asking is, "Does anybody NOT agree" :eek: :eek:

'User Friendliness' seems not to be a high priority of the Business Analyst(s) writing the rules for the TT firmware .... :confused:

There is a back button, but you must use a custom menu to use it:

My page on custom menus can be found below:
>>> Custom Menu <<<

Here is an example of how, on Main Menu PAGE 2, you create a link to Main Menu PAGE 1:

MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE2|Main Menu 2/3|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE1|
MENUITEM|TASK_CHANGE_HOME_LOCATION|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE3|

Am I missing something, or will the Back button occupy a space normally used by a function button? If it does as I suspect, you would likely have one more page in your menu structure than if you went without the Back button. It seems as if your choice is press forward twice or backwards once.

You are correct. The back button will occupy the space of a functional icon. However, if you have 8 pages of icons, your press forward twice turn into pressing many more times to cycle through all the pages.
