iq routes

i had the option for iq routes displayed on my tt720 for sometime now - plugged up to home a few days ago and now I noticed I am missing it

i do have navcore 8.010 os 190943

did they take away the shiny new button?

And what map do you have installed? The version number as well..

currently have NA 2gb 710.1584

was going to upgrade maps but if IQ is not there then I see no need. I do still see lane assist as an option (though will not work with current map)

You need version 8 maps AND Navcore 8 firmware to get IQ routing (And ALG for some places in the States).

BUT - I already have Navcore 8.010 and I used to have a button that showed IQ routes and now that is gone.

I see no reason to pay for an update if TT decided I will not be able to use IQ routes of the new maps.

I still have the button for ALG though I could not care less about that - had it on my Navigon and when I dumped it I did not miss tha feature at all.

Have you checked under Planning Preferences under Change Preferences? I think that's where the Use iq routing option is.

AFAIK, there is no way to see IQ Route option in the unit if you have NavCore 8 AND v7 map.
I hope you not mistake with ALG icon.

You need V8 maps and V8 NavCore to use that function, PERIOD!
