I've been testing TomTom for a couple of days now, for some reason the '2D Map North Up' toggle is always ON (Settings - Map), if I switch it OFF and go to the Map and change from 2D to 3D, the toggle changes to ON again. Wanted to check and see if anyone else is experiencing this?

Looks like a bug they should fix on the next App update.
