Go iOS app
The iOS app keeps changing my routes automatically without warning or asking me, even though that option is selected in the settings. This might be happening if I have chosen an alternative route rather than the first route chosen by the app, although I can't be 100% sure on this. Mainly used via Carplay.

The app is the latest version, latest maps etc. Anyone else seeing this behaviour? Been a very long term user but this is seriously making me question continuing

In the settings select << Route calculation >>, then recalculate the route select << None >>

Hi, thanks for replying but those options don’t exist in the iOS app. There's a Route Planning option but you can't choose to turn off recalculation altogether.

I currently have “ask me so I can choose” selected so that I can decide whether or not to take the alternative route but despite this, I often find that the app has re-routed anyway. I don’t want to turn off recalculation altogether, I just want to choose, which should be happening.

But if I check that, won't it just do what it's doing now I.e. re-route without me knowing? What i want is for it to give me the choice.

Yes, that's the option I already use 😊. Thanks for having a think - I've raised a ticket with TomTom so we'll see if they can suggests what's happening.
