Internal microphone

I think I've having some issues with the internal microphone, if i receive a caller, the caller is able to hear me fine and everything is good. but when I call someone, the person sometimes isn't able to hear me for some reason.

I think there are 2 internal settings for volume. One for sound coming in and one for sound going out. Try setting the volume to 100%.Then make a call using your tomtom. Once the connection is established ask that person if they can hear you loud enough. While talking to them tap the bottom centre of the tomtom screen. This should bring up the internal microphone volume. It most likely won't be at 100% like the internal speaker volume. I had the same problem when I installed a new map. It set the microphone volume to 70% on mine. I set it back to 100%.

I would recommend using the external mic.
Just place the holder on the visor and test it out.
