i lost all of my favorites

so i updated the map using "latest map guarantee" via tomtom home. is this what is suppose to happen? i didnt lose anything else (voices, routes, etc). is there any way to back your favorites up?

As I understand, when you use the 'latest map update' it replaces your map with the new one. In this case, you would lose your favourites and perhaps your custom POI's.

Do you have a backup prior to your upgrade? If you do, go into your map folder and look for a file called mapsettings.cfg and copy that to your new map folder on your TT.
