I have 7.4.... ?

I received that test SD card that was floating around on these forums a couple months ago. I don't know why, but I just got it last week which seems REALLY late.

Anyway, I stuck it in to my 720 and it showed version 7.425 . The UI was a little different; however, there were a couple bugs.

I'm wondering a few things:

1. Since it arrived so late, is this out yet? If so, is it free or for buy?
2. Its on the SD card, but can I just copy and overwrite on the hard drive with the contents of the SD card.

I'm going under the assumption that the sd you have is for beta testers and you must have been one. A test map was to be sent on a sd card. Guess that's what you have. I assume the .425 you're talking about is a map version and not the firware version.

Having said all that, I would **not** copy anything from the disk to the internal memory for two reasons: 1) the 720 can operate with the operating system on internal & the map on a sd card and 2) you said yourself that there seem to be some bugs. Why take a chance on copying buggy files to the internal memory?

There is NO 7.425 map (7.15 just came out last week) and there is NO 7.425 firmware in general release.

Assuming you WERE a ? tester of the map, I thought each of you got an email detailing how to deal with the sd card.

I got an email in December sometime and was told i would receive before New Year's; however, I JUST got it last week and they will not return any of my emails....

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has it out there and had any news regarding release or anything regarding the test because I'm not receiving any more emails or replies from my emails...

I was one of the beta testers from the email in December. They just concluded the beta trial I was in, so unless this is a separate one, they got you the card too late. I take you let them know when you did not get the card? I originally got an email that said to email them if I did not get the card by the 1st of January (which I did not). I then get a reply that said Christmas postal traffic was causing delays so I should email them if I did not get it by the next week. Mine arrived toward the end of the first week of January.
