I corrected street names around my home area but did not share with community

Does that mean that they will disappear on the next map update?
If so, is there someway to change them to "shared with community" without tediously having to re-enter all of the information again?

When I updated my map some things I had changed stayed and other things didnt. Kind of weird.

If anything, it should work the other way around. What you don't share should be kept. Guess they assume there's no way you'll ever see them again as an update, so better hang onto them.
