How upload file

Is there a way to upload a file to the forum?

Underneath the text editor, there should be a button called "upload a file" - just click this and browse for the file you'd like to upload. Not all file types are supported - but images, zips and most documents are supported.

What file type is it and how large is the file?

It's a rar/ziped file and it' 1.27gb someone has asked for help on lost map so I was going to upload one off my 730.

Ah, that would be the problem - the limit on here is a matter of megabytes, rather than gigabytes. There's also the problem that we can't share TomTom maps via the forum.

Suggest you upload it to one of the free web hosting places and post the resulting URL here.

Maps can't be moved between units anyway. They are all keyed to the serial number of the device.
