O.K., I know this sounds really dumb, but for a very long time I have had trouble turning on the TT ONE first edition (same goes for 3rd.) I would push the button as hard as I could thinking that is why it does not always come on., sometimes it would come on, sometimes I would have to try again. As it turns out you don't have to push hard, but you do need to hold it for 2 seconds (hold button until screen comes to life).
It sounds simple, it sounds dumb, but I wonder how many others out there have had the same issue. Curiously to turn it off it doesn't matter how long it is pressed, no matter how quickly you click the button, it turns off.
