how to setup go520 from fresh

Please help.
I have beenfrustruted by several errors so I connected my go to PC & formatted the go.
can anyone please help how to re-install the software for GO 520 .

Have you got a backup of the device or at least the map? If not its going to be costly to recover - Mike

Hard to believe anyone would format their device without checking FIRST if they could get everything back.

But you aren't the first and probably won't be the last, I'm afraid.

Basically, if you don't have that backup, unless you have bought a new map via download recently, there is no way to reinstall your personal copy of the map, which was locked to your device.

Pretty much everything else can be re-downloaded from TomTom and reinstalled, but not the map. You'll have to buy a new one of those.
