I can add and edit the POIs that came installed on the TomTom, but the third party ones I added with TomTom Home don't seem to be changeable at all, is this correct?

I want to navigate to an address in another city. when I enter the city name, I get 5 or six versions of the city with another city name in parenthesis. Why does it do this. I have no idea what version of city to select.

Split the post to a separate thread.......

You will see that if a street covers various locations. I agree, it may be tricky to select which one. If you proceed to put in a street number and get the message 'number not found', you'd want to back out and try a street in a different town till you do find one that gives the proper street number.

I get this in my area now and then as well. Additional confusion arises when parts of a town are covered by a neighboring towns post office, resulting in the city portion of the mailing address being different than the city in which the address is physically located.

If you have the zip code available you might want to try using that menu option instead of using an address. Once you enter the zip code, you'll get a chance to enter a street and house number.

What TomTom should do when there are multiple matches for a town name is to add an option on the list for "any", that would search all matching towns for the street and house number, and present you with a map showing the matching locations, along with the distance from your current location.
