How to get HTC Touch Pro With Navigator 7 to work with TomTom Home2

Hi,
I have a Verizon HTC Touch Pro With Navigator 7 installed on it. It works GREAT! My issue is trying to get it to work with TomTom Home 2.6.4. It wont see my device and says that it is not connected.
I can use the old TomTom Home but it wont let me do any updates on the old one. Can anyone please help me with this issue that i'm having?
