I want to download National Parks Plus.OV2 from POI Factory into New Route Planner. I downloaded the file, then went to Route Planner "My Items" and clicked on "POI files" in the dropdown menu. Another menu appeared with my downloaded OV2 file listed. I clicked on the meatballs menu then on "Download." The downloaded file appeared again. I clicked on it again and got "select an app to download this OV2 file." TomTom is not on the list. There is an option to "Choose an app on your PC," but I don't know where to find the app. How can I get these POI's into my Route Planner?

I tried to follow that procedure, but it did not work, as described in my original post. I'm using Windows 11, if that makes any difference.

It should work with Windows 11 your file must only contain ov2 and must not exceed 2 MB
So check that your file does not have Bmps.

No, not possible Tomtom Home is not compatible with your GO 600.

When you click on "element" then on "pi file" you do not have to download it again your poi are already on your GPS.

To see your new list of points of interest select My Destinations from the main menu.

OK, I downloaded National Parks Plus.OV2 to my GO 620. But I don't see them on TomTom Route Planner. Is it not possible to download OV2's to the TomTom Route Planner on my computer?

On tomtom map to see them click pi file to see the files download.

You have downloaded National Park Plus from the site to your computer why do you want to download it again to your computer.

I can see "National Parks Plus" at the bottom of the "My Places" list on my GO 620 Device, but not in the Planner on my computer. Here are the steps I took to get this far:

I selected "POI files" on this menu:

I selected "Import OV2 file" on this menu:

I selected "National Parks Plus.OV2" on another list and the menu updated to this:

If I select "Download," that file doesn't appear on the list, so I assume it already downloaded. This is what I get:

What is the next step?

You do not need to re-upload your file

if you do this you will download your file to your computer which is useless.

You need to make the settings.

In Settings from the main menu, select Appearance then Show POI lists on map.

Select one of the 5 colors for your POI list.

I selected "Settings" from this menu:

This is the settings screen:

"Appearance" is not an option. Is there another settings menu?

You will not see personal POI displayed on the map in plan.tomtom.com, only viewable on the map on your GPS.

I was beginning to realize that. It's hard to believe, though. It makes it more difficult to use Route Planner. With TomTom stock at a 5-year low, I guess we're lucky to have route planning software on our computers at all.
