How To clear route

I have not been able to locate the "clear route" option in my XXL 540. When driving and I change my mind about my destination, the TomTom keeps nagging me to return to the planned route. In my One XL I just clicked the "clear route" option. So far the only option I have found is to just turn it off. sometimes when I have arrived at the planned destination and am driving away it continues to direct me back to the planned destination. This is very frustrating. Does anyone know how to clear the route on the XXL-540S? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, tap the screen lower edge center and it will offer you a route summary, one of the buttons on the summary screen is clear route - Mike
