How to apply activation code?

hello, how do I, or where do I go to give my activation code so i can update my maps?

I've made your subject more meaningful and moved the thread to the appropriate forum.

If you are referring to the lifetime maps code found on a card in the package of material marked DO NOT DISCARD then phone CS at 866-486-6866.

In theory, you should be able to register on line but that method just doesn't seem to work very well.

How do i register my tomtom

Assuming that you are referring to registering your TomTom so that it will be recognized as eligible for Lifetime Maps, follow the instructions that dhn provided in the message immediately above yours.

Specifically, the box in which your GPS came included a card marked DO NOT DISCARD. This card has a code printed on it that is your ID for Lifetime Maps eligibility. Retrieve that card, then phone Customer Support at 866-486-6866 and ask to register.

As dhn said, you are supposed to be able to do all that on-line, but so many people have had problems with the process that the standard advice these days is to just go directly to a call to Customer Support since it is a toll-free number.
