how long to update map?

i am interested in knowing if the time on the update maps on the 720 is 30 days or one year-
i just got the tt 2nd edition and want to upgrade, however i want the newest map- so if i could wait a year to upgrade- then i could take advantage of a good deal-now-otherwise i will wait until black Friday again to see if i can get a lower price- and a map that is at least a year newer then my current one

Do not believe 720's ever came with a 1-year guarantee; only 920's did. I stand to be corrected, though.

Depends were you live, I think in Europe its one year for the 720.In N/A it's 30 days.
Not sure about the 920's.

Well for sure in north america, only the 920's had the 1 yr map guarantee. I know this cause ive owned both

Now its back to 30 days even for the X30 units
