How do you make XXL550 turn off automatically?

I have searched this forum, the manual, the user guide. Nothing. I know that the XXL550 had a dumbed-down menu but I can't believe that they actually make you manually turn the device on/off every time you enter/leave you car.

Since that option is associated with Battery Savings Preferences and since your model does NOT have that preference, you are out of luck.

Well - I guess you can threaten it.

If this is a very recent purchase, you may want to consider switching to a 540 or any of the other non x50 models that have the "dumbed down" menu structure.
