Go 630
Hello der
I have a Go 630 and used to have a One. Anyhow, when I update my Go I see 2 maps. One says I cannot download( version 665 ) and another " Canada & Alaska, Needs to download ver. 8.25 "
I am running the newest map not sure why those come up. Is there a way I can delete those from home?
Not a big deal but kinda annoying.

Thanks

Are you by chance using the same email address/password account for the 630 as you did for the One?

That confuses Home in terms of what you have and what you need.

If that is the case, register the 630 at TomTom with a different email address/pw; it doesn't even have to be a real email address.

Yup I sure did.
And i member reading that somewhere too now that I think about it!

Thanks again

If you're not using your old device any longer, you can just rename your mydocuments\tomtom\home\download directory to mydocuments\tomtom\home\downloadOLD, and you should be fine with using your old email address (the phantom maps will disappear).

If you make any purchases via HOME (eg: a map), your receipt will be sent to the registered email address. So you'd want a real email for that purpose. Otherwise, the your HOME email address can be fake.
