Home manual download and pristine backup

A couple of questions.

I seem to remember seeing a link to download the TT Home manual, but can't find it now. Does anyone know where I can download the manual for Home?

I'd like to backup my brand new XL before I do anything. The only thing I've done so far is charge it up fully. I have another TT and can't remember what happens the first time I turn it on - so my question is:

If I power the TT up for the very first time, what should I answer when it asks to "Connect to the Computer?" so that I can copy the TT as if it were a USB device to another USB SD card? Will it ask me the first time questions? I always see that I need to be where satellites are receivable during the first time I power this up, so depending on what I answer, is this still accurate?

>load TT Home
>Start TT Home
>connect TT
>Start TT
> Press "connect" to computer.

There you can navigate to back-up. You can also access your SD Card and internal memory.

You do not need to be receiving satellite signal to do this.

Make sure you use Explorer for the backup, NOT TTHome. Also, ensure hidden files are showing as well as extensions for known file types.

Thanks for the replies.

Based on what both of you sent, I started the TT attached to the computer, and said Yes to the question about "Connecting". No other questions asked, so I now have the hardware mounted on my PC and can copy the files.

This gives me an exact copy of the way I received the TT (I hope). I'm burning the copy to the PC first, then to an SD, then I will try and start it up with the SD to verify it's a good copy.
