home made air vent holder for XXL 540S
using acrylic 4" (air vent width) x 4.5" cutoff piece
easymount suction cup sticks like crazy on acrylic
surface (just like on windshield)
easy to store away without a trace
(pulling the acrylic out from the vent)
and easy to insert it into the vent

That looks very good. Your car clock needs adjusting, presuming the TomTom gets the correct time from the satellites. ;->)

The vents on SWMBO's Freestar and my Taurus have a vertical orientation and I don't have an easymount holder but I like your idea.

i know i know
so i have a choice of taking one
you do have a good observation
thanks anyway

Just on a safety question... how does it secure to the vent.... on those emergency full stops that could come flying out.....
Other than that.... that is a good concept....good job

there is a non skip pad stick to the bottom of acrylic
the width of the acrylic is the width of the vent
there is about 1" into the vent
the thickness of the acrylic is just about the cap of the vent
the vent itself close tight to the acrylic due the weight of the TT pulling down
looks like it stays pretty secure there
i do not worry about the emergency full stops
because it will even hold more secure due to the direction it will goes.
but i know it won't stay on high impact accidents
for now it stays really good even on bumpy roads
hope these answer your question
