Is anyone else having problems with Home 1.5 and the GO 700.
I'm using App. 6x on my 700 and when I involk the GUI interface it works fine but when I disconnect the power button in the GUI and try to turn off the 700 (on the unit itself) it will not power down. I must paper clip the reset button to get it to shut off. Am I performing the wrong sequence or what ?

I did a little more research into the problem and can across something that migt be contributing to this, but am not sure so I'll run it by you.
Since I'm new to TomTom I'm not sure how updates are installed in the file structure of the unit. But I looked at the backup to computer file and found the Navigator .toc (1KB) and Winzip file (7,029KB) files in there twice. Can anyone tell me why they are in there twice ? Also in my Home it show that the Application was installed three times ??? two @ 7.7 MB and one @ 8.0 MB cant figure that one out either. I will try and attach two screen shots and see if that helps........woops file to big...

Any how file structure reads:

Are both of these needed or can I delete them out and just install the TOMTOM application for GO, ONE and Rider (6.520) 8.0MB file ?????

Just seems funny to have two files of the same thing taking up hard drive space.

The one ending in .toc is a "table of contents", telling the tomtom what's in the .zip file. Notice the file sizes..the ZIP file is about 7MB, the toc file is 1KB. You're not "wasting hard drive space"
