Got me a new 720 and even though it may be outdated, it's new to me

It will be here in a few days and I can't wait to tweak it with whatever improvements are out there.

2 I will try are Tripmaster and Menu Designer (though I may skip the Menu Designer if I lose my "Help" button).

Welcome. Before you accept any updates whatsoever, make sure you back up your unit using Explorer, not TTHome. Make sure hidden files are showing and extensions for known file types.

Also....you have 30 days to get the latest map which is 7.20. Use TomTom Home's latest map guarantee.

So I copy all of the files from the TomTom and paste it into a folder on my computer hard drive?

Much appreciated Dhn and I'm glad I will have the latest map. My street did not show up on a TT XL S and this house was built in 2004, so hopefully they will have added our street to the new map.
