Hello all! Got a problem with my tomtom, (go 550 live) and so this forum is my first stop, and I guess it would be rude not to say "hi".

I got my new tomtom today (last one stolen) and after running though updates on the tomtom home it now asks me to choose a map and when I do (the only map there) it says I cannont use this map with this device.

I'm a bit stumped, and hoping someone would have an easy fix or solution for me?

thanks for the swift reply. I figured that must be the case. :( I'll give them call in the morning, failing that I'll take it back to comet and get it swapped over... may be easier. ;)
 
If you reuse an email address in Tomtom HOME for a new device, HOME will continue to show all the maps downloaded for the old device (but won't let you install them).

Best thing to do is create a new email for the new device.
