Hi! New as of Today

Hi. I've had a One for about a year and am impressed. It's so fast and easy to use. The glow wore off yesterday, when my unit took me to the wrong place and I discovered some significant map issues; which has brought me here.

BTW, anyone know how to post a new thread in the other forums? Do we have to be a member for a while?

Nope, once a member, I believe you should be able to click the 'new thread' link at the bottom of a forum page, but I suspect Pedro or one of the other mods may correct me there.

I like my one xl also, but, I don't depend on it 100% as up here in the country it will (has) lead me astray a time or two, so I always check the local maps as a safety check, in the cities it seems to work more accurate, I use it daily for getting to places and it will eventually get me there, but it doesn't know all the short cuts and I don't expect it to know them........
