Hi from Toronto!!!

In spite of some of the terminology Jane appears to be the most clear voice I have sampled in a few days after getting my 930. Don't know if it exists but by the time Daffy Duck would finished his stuttering I may have missed a turn.

During the four weeks of driving in the UK & Eire and now here SWMBO and others have gotten so used to her (not it!) that no one refers to SatNav or GPS any longer, it is just "Are we taking Jane with us?".

We had exactly the same thing happen during a trip to France where Jane became our trusted travelling companion. On our last day, we were in a restaurant and we had a place setting for Jane with a glass of red wine beside her. Our way of giving thanks.

Is it my imagination, or does her voice become more stern when you disobey her?:)

A real classy act, congratulations.

Unfortunately that couldn't happen to me unless I stayed within walking distance. SWMBO gets a reaction from alcohol (the Drambuie stopped evaporating about ten years ago) and I, having made a living as a Sales Engineer, have a self imposed zero alcohol tolerance if driving the same day.

I cannot really say that Jane becomes terser but I am certain that she sulks a bit when ignoring her instructions thrice in a row.
Still, at least she doesn't have a built in repeat function for missed turns, like the hydro-carbon back seat drivers.
