I recently purchased a in dash dvd-tv-raido-gps unit for my car.It came with a sd card with a demo version gps from a company other then tomtom. When i asked the seller how i could get tomtom software onto the sd card i got this response.......
The trial map is to show that the GPS System is working perfectly and we send you a free 2 GB SD card with the trial map. If you want to upgrade from the trial map, you need to acquire a full version from any GPS software - Route 66 and TomTom are two types of maps that work very well and come at good prices. Usually GPS systems come with trial maps and not the full version.
Could anyone post a link to where i can purchase what i need? The pic is of the navi slot.

You might see if the seller can give you more specific information about what is available. You could also call TomTom sales support and see if they can help ypu.

It would possibly be Navigator 6 maps. Find out the specific model name of your unit and ask TomTom if the Navigator maps only ($99 for US / Canada) will work on your GPS in-car unit.

Yeah i did get a manual but the translation is crazy. The pics are instructions on how to use the gps with the demo map it came with. As long as thats all i need ill try to find one that works.
