Hi, I have a 6250 pro truck satnav, up until last week I had no problems using my phones android WiFi hot-spot to get traffic news, all of a sudden last week, Wednesday I think the sstnav required a software update, as I work away I had to wait until Friday and plug it into my sons computer, did the update but I cannot get traffic, it says its connected to WiFi on phone but Tomtom services are unavailable, I did a factory reset, now it will connect using home WiFi but will not connect using phone, I'm at a loss

If you can connect to both your home and phone WiFi, and you can get traffic from your home WiFi but not your phone WiFi, it might be worth a call to your cellular provider to ask whether (coincidentally) there's an issue with your WiFi tethering subscription (usually an add-on service to a cellular plan). Had this happen to me recently, which is why I bring it up.

I tried it on my wife's phone this morning as she's on a different network which worked, then my phone said it required an update which I did, it now appears to be working
