Can someone please help. I can load Itinerary on my GPS Tom Tom XL 325SE. This is day one of my route...

Does anyone know how to make way points or make it so my gps takes the roads i have specifically chosen

I'm not sure that your model has itinerary planning .... Look for an icon that says 'Itinerary Planning' If it doesn't, you can get that functionality back.

It does have itinerary planing... But how does that function work so I can take this route?

You need to plan the route using Tyre as described in the second link in the above post. Tyre will allow you to then transfer that route to Home or directly to your tomtom. In order to access the route, you will need to go into the plan itinerary option on the tomtom, and select options to load up the saved itinerary. Just make sure that when you plan the route, you put your way points on the correct side of the highway (you'll need to zoom in while using Tyre to make sure) otherwise, the tomtom will route you some strange ways to hit the waypoints that are on the wrong side.
