I have a GO 730.
I accidentally deleted files in maps folder (Western_andCentral_Europe_2GB) on the device.
i don't have a backup.
The device now restarting, ask me to configurate it and don't find maps of couse.
Can an owner reinstall everything? original software and maps?
or i have to buy on tomtom home?

If the map was the original that came with the unit, then I'm afraid you'll have to repurchase.

If the map was an upgrade from an earlier version, then the upgraded map in compressed format should still be on your computer and can be re-installed. Open Home and look for items on my computer. Does it show a map?

If you can't find a map, call up Tomtom phone support. Sometimes they'll be nice and give you an older map for free.

If you downloaded the missing map recently you can download it again for up to 12 months.
