Help with Window Mount

I have had my Go 910 for about a month and find it very helpful. Went on a 2000 trip and it was a gem. However I have one major problem..

After about an hour the 910 will not remain in the proper position. It starts to drift down. The window mount does not keep it in position. How do I tighten it so that it remaines in place or do I have a defect mount?

I lock the mount but the angle keeps falling. It's a real pain, I had to put a string around it and the sun visor to keep the angle correct.

Any input would be helpful.

Thank

The drooping mount. This is a problem that many X10 owners have experienced, especially when this model first came out.

TomTom was offering a new free mount to those who had problems like yours. I would contact them to see if they will send you a new one.

To make sure you are locking it properly, my signature has a link that will direct u to a video clip on how it is done.
Check it out.

I hope you have better luck than I did...when I had problems getting my TT1 suction cup to hold and sent a message to TT I was told how to buy a new one, even though I made it clear I just purchased the unit. Really didn't give me the warm and fuzzies for their customer service.

With the ONE, make sure you stick the mount to the windshield first, then mount the unit. Never place the unit on the mount, then afterwards place it together on the windshield. This will make the mount drop!!!
