Help with "validation error"

Trying to buy upadated maps for Rider 2

At checkout I'm getting an error message that the current map certificate validation failed.

Question 1: what the heck does that mean?

Question 2: what the heck do I do about it?

Sounds like a security/encryption bug.

Is the date & time on your computer set properly? If so, just wait a day and try again.

I had the same error with my Rider 2. Check the time of tomtoms server in the extended error message. I found it was off 3 minutes from what windows time server sets my pc clock to. I set my pc clock back 3 minutes, and the download proceeded. Seems a bit tight for SSL, but hey.
