Welcome to TTF.

Believe you also posted in PGPSW.

Safety Cameras are a strange animal when it comes to poi files. Strange in that they do NOT appear in the poi category list.

Do you have an icon showing Enable/Disable Safety Alerts? on your model? (If it says 'enable', then they are currently disabled and vice versa).

Yes i have enabled them but they dont appear on the map.....Im starting to get a bit annoyed with it now and may just subscribe to the PGPSW cam loacations!!!

XL350 Safety Camera

Ok here is a situation that ive found on the model XL350. I downloaded and installed the newest safey cams here in the US. Ive enabled alerts, however they dont show up when driving through a known camera intersection/highway? Does anyone have the same problem with this model?? Also, i dowloaded trapmaster and it works great ONLY WHEN YOU PLAN A ROUTE?? If you didnt plan a route it wont give you audible alarms ect? Any solutions out there?

Is there a way of editting the safety cameras on the XL2? I cannot find the option to do this. And can you submit your changes using mapshare?

Think you only have the functionality to enable or disable safety cameras on that model.

Yes i have enabled them but they dont appear on the map.....

They don't appear on the map, that's the way they work. They only appear on the navigation screen as you approach them (if you have the demo route function on that model, you can see them thet way, but I think you might not)

Im starting to get a bit annoyed with it now and may just subscribe to the PGPSW cam loacations!!!

Go for it. See you in their forum again!
