Help with my mount

Just posted a few pics of my recently mounted tomtom. Its in the showoff section. Im just wondering where I went wrong. I originally wanted to glue the holder to the dash but didnt know which adhesive to use.

If I choose to paint the screw and holder black what would be the best product.

Quite pleased with it but any suggestions very welcome.

So you did screw it in right? No glue will ever hold that permanently without screws. I like the setup though.

Of course. Was thinking of touching it up with some black or grey paint but what kind of stuff would I use.

I think they still sell Rust-oleum in half pint tins. A little tin of flat black and a small brush looks like it would work well per your photos. I'd spray them, but you already have everything assembled.
