HELP Please Samsung m320

My [Virgin Canada} Samsung phone is bluetooth compatible, It finds the TomTom GO 730, but the TomTom will load to 40% then report an error message.
Is this phone not compatible? I searched the TomTom site, but it appears to be geared to American phones only
