Help - Oz Map Uploaded but cant view

Ive just uploaded an Australia map on to my (UK & Europe) Go 730 Tom Tom, but i cant seem to view this map on my tom tom.
Can anybody advise as to why this is?
Or do I have to be in Australia before it works?

Have you used the "Manage Maps" on the face of your unit to select the Australia map? Also, since you aren't in Australia, you won't see anything on "Map" view, but if you want to play with it, you can use "Plan a route" after selecting the Australian map and you'll see streets then.
