Help No Maps

Hi all,

I was hoping I could call upon your help.

I had a problem initially with my tom tom One 3rd Edition it would not boot up and it hung (froze).

Unfortunately I have tried to fix it and deleted the maps.

I have used Tom Tom Home and installed the things required and it now boots up.

However when it comes on.

No Maps.

Can anyone help?

Tim, have you got a backup of the device on your PC or have you updated the maps for the device at any point using PC, if you can answer yes to either of these questions it should be easy to recover the device, if the answer is no you can try a call to TomTom support in the morning (0845 161 0009) and if they won't help the only answer is to purchase a new map for the device using TomTom Home - Mike
 
Unfortunately not mike. I changed my netbook about 6 months ago.

I guess a call will be made tomorrow. I am not worried about a new map, the old one will be fine.

Wow, that makes a nice change, still its nice to know TT CS can make the right call from time to time - great result now make sure you back it up using Windows Explorer and burn a copy to DVD for when you next "swap" the home PC - Mike
