HELP...No Map founds on my TomTom One

Hi ya'll...

I need a little help here...my brother just gave me his used TOMTOM and it was working fine until i decided (Phew) to update the map to ensure i have the latest BUT ..after i did that , it's seem like the GPS is outta space so i put a new Sd card and now..the unit is completly not working. It giving me the " No Map Founds" error. I even try the "Use Latest Map Guaranteed" but TomTom said that it has expired. please help....i spent so many time in TomTom website as well as others on Goole but couldn't find solution...

Another question, is it possible for me to download the map and put in the map folder ?

Do you know what model TomTom you have? You mentioned a sd card, so I assume the unit has a card slot so might it be a 720, 730, 920 or 930 unit?

When you look at the contents of the unit using Explorer, do you see a spefic map folder (like North_America_2GB) on it with files in that folder?

Did you actually download a new map? If so, it'll be found here:
c:\documents and settings\yourname\my documents\TomTom\Home\Downloads\Complete\Maps\
