HELP Map Loading on One XL

I got a map from a friend and I am trying to load it on my One XL for Ireland and I live in the US. Does anyone know a work around I have to leave in 3 weeks for this trip and would really like to take my TomTom.
 
Sorry but maps are locked to a specific device. You'll have to purchase a new map for your unit.
