Just thought I should introduce myself. Well, my name is Chris and I had just recently acquired a Tomtom One XL. I joined the forum in hopes to learn more about my Tomtom and to get the most out of my unit. I will also do my best to provide as much help to others as I can.
One of the things that brought me here was that I have been trying to get info on things like POI?s, Traffic alerts, Speed cameras and Redlight camera locations with no luck. I mean I have found some but not sure how to install it.
Do I save directly to my Tomtom or to an SD card? What file name to save under or what do I name the file so Tomtom recognize it? And I would also like to learn how to input and share POI?s like Speed traps and other Red-light camera?s
that may not be on the list in NY or else where. If anyone can be of any help I would greatly appreciate it.
