Hey everyone

Trying to update my tomtom One 3rd edition software and keep getting this error:

Cannot create this file: M:\mctx.dat

happens everytime...trying reinstalling TomTom Home software but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated

The fat32 filesystem on your tomtom probably has a corrupt entry for the existing mctx.dat file.

Go to my computer, Right click on your tomtom drive (drive M), and click properties
Then go to the tools tab and click check now, click fix filesystem errors, and click start.

After the checking/fixing completes, try upgrading again.
