Hi all,

I have LG VX8500 Chocolate phone and Verizon as my service provider.
I am trying to use hands free function of my tomtom 910 with the phone.
I successfuly paired them.

However, during hands free call, my friends keep saying that phone break up during conversation. I have no problem hearing them. I can hear them very clearly through tomtom 910. I know VX8500 is not supported and tested by Tomtom yet.

Does anyone have fixed this problem?
I emailed tom tom and they responded to try couple thing.
I tried already but still same problem....
Here is what they wrote to me..

Thank you for contacting TomTom support regarding the problem that you are experiencing with your TomTom GO 910. We are more than glad to assist you.

We understand that during the Hands-free call your callers hear a break up during the conversation. We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, let's perform some trouble shooting steps that we hope will resolve your issue:

1. Reinstall the application
**If you reinstall the application and the issue remains then:
2. Delete the phone you are paired to in "connect to phone", then turn off your bluetooth in Change Preferences, and turn off the bluetooth on your phone
3. Perform a soft reset on the TomTom. For instructions, please access this link:

4. Turn on the bluetooth on both devices and then pair them again.

BTW, what do they mean by reinstall the application? Is it the application from phone or tt910? If tt910, which one are they talking about??

I would really appreciate for your any help.
I can't afford to pay for another phone that supports hands free from tt910.

Most bluetooth headsets you can buy works with any phones. Why cant they make their gps like that?
