Does anyone make a handlebar mount for the tomtom one? I would like to be able to use my tomtom on my motorcycle, but can't figure any way to mount it. I tried the suction cup on my wind screen, but it vibrates too much and I'm afraid it will fall off.
Just remember, there's a reason that TomTom doesn't sell what you're looking for -- these units designed for dash mounting aren't even close to water repellent, much less waterproof. Be ready to "bag" it quickly when it starts coming down.
The best mount on the motorcycle is the Ram Mounts as they are easy to move the TT to the best position to see the info, sun will sometimes wash out the screen, so I usually use the night screen which helps me to see the info a little better, you will also need to install an auxillary plug (waterproof) to plug the car charger into, also carry a large plastic ziplock bag to cover the TT up when raining, or just stop, unplug and put it in your pocket or saddlebag/whatever as most are not waterproof (this is what I do) I mounted my auxilary plug to one of my windshield mounting bracket and ran the wires direct to the battery, been running mine for 3 yrs this way and no problem..........You can see the plug mount up left by windshield
