Google maps

I am trying to add a Google map to my Tom Tom XL330S and when I press send to my GPS I get a message that says "Cannot add to your TOM Tom at home ....blah blah the button is not working..." Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Is it an ITINERARY you are trying to send to the unit? A specific location?

You can't send a map itself.

No, just sending the location...sorry if I wasn't specific enough.

And the error says what **exactly**?

(also, I think you can only sent NON-Business locations, but am not 100% sure of that).

Just trying to add St Jacobs Ontario to my Tom Tom as it is not shown when I try to get directions to it. Would anyone else try and see if they can get St. Jacobs Ontario to come up...

Using the 870 map on both a 720 and a 2535, I just planned trips from my location (Toronto) to St Jacobs and had no problems with the route being determined.

Notice the way to type the destination? No period after 'St' and put a space before the 'J'

No google maps needed.
