Google Maps 'Send' function and a 2535M

I tried to 'send' some favorites to the 2535M with google maps, and it kept wanting to launch the old TomTom Home. Anyone have any ideas when this functionality will be restored? Will Tyre provide a workaround?

There hasn't been an announcement from Tomtom on whether/when the MyTomtom app will get "Send from Google" functionality.

If you have a LIVE unit, you can search for the location using Tomtom's Google Search on the device, and then save it to a favorite directly on the device.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured. I'm not yet sure of the advantages of the 2535m outweigh the shortcomings yet.
