Google maps and TT releases

Since the current TA map on Google is a newer (probably the very latest) release than what is being offered with the 8.25 update (4th quarter 08 build; perhaps 3rd qtr 08 data?), we now have a convenient way to check for corrections we're curious about. If the "new road" you're wondering about is in the current Google map, then I will guess that it will show up for TT owners in the next quarterly release, around June. If it's not on Google version, I wouldn't expect it on the next TomTom release.

Teleatlas.com's map correction feature shows a map that appears slightly newer than both tomtom and google (some new changes).

In my experience, the google map seems in line with the latest tomtom version. It had matched my map 815 perfectly until recently. I suspect google is at the 825 equivalent now. Google still is missing a few new edits from teleatlas.com.

I'll disagree. Googles map is definitely a 2009 build with 8.25 from Tomtom based on 4th quarter last year. 99% sure of that.
